On February 25th, Visionary hosted a scleral lens education event with a goal of sharing knowledge regarding trouble shooting, application and removal as well as billing.
The successful event was led by Dr. Thien Tran as he presented his experiences regarding common fitting and billing challenges.
We also had Jason Lopez from Cal Coast Ophthalmics teaching OCT applications and Ryan Gorman from Tangible Sciences providing insights to the benefits of Hydra-PEG on dry eye patients.
The open and conversational style of the presentations lead to bursts of discussions and information exchanges among all participants. Local volunteer patients provided hands-on experience to the attendees with everything from OCT and slit lamp use to lens application and removal.
