It’s all about the vault. The Ultimate-K lens has the most adaptability of all of Visionary’s corneal gas permeable designs thanks to the five-curve design. Diameter most commonly ranges from 8.6 mm to 9.2 mm with corresponding base curves ranging from 4.82 mm to 7.5 mm. Design is simply based on the relationship between the corneal keratometry and the lens base curves. The Ultimate-K can be fit diagnostically from a fitting set or empirically based on fluoresceine and topography images. We recommend Tangible Hydra-PEG treatment on the Ultimate-K as a benefit to any irregular corneal associated dry eye condition.

The Ultimate-K lenses is intended for irregular cornea due to a wide range of causes including but not limited to keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration, or following penetrating keratoplasty, radial keratometry, or LASIK surgeries.
